The Ignatius Lectionary

After a bit of an hiatus, there have been more inquiries about the availability of the Ignatius Lectionary. The two-volume set of the Revised Standard Version of the three-year lectionary is available, and details for ordering can be found at AtonementOnline. Information about cost, shipping, etc. is found near the top of the right-hand column at that site.

  1. Sir,

All I can say, Father, is that the Ignatius Bible had a tremendous impact on my family's life in the Faith. It is like having a Bible study with the likes of Dr. Hahn in the morning when I read it. The commentary, alone, is worth it. I find myself veering off into the notes because they are so rich. They include commentary from a variety of sources, including the Church Fathers and saints. So much better than many of the previous versions that seemed to avoid commentary on crucial passages and were more worried about trivial matters that had everything to do with social science drivel and little to do with explaining the meaning and how it relates to our getting to know Christ.

    God bless,
    Dan Hoffman

  2. Please allow me to provide a testimonial for these volumes. The ordering process was, to say the least, easy. The items arrived from Texas to Orlando within a few days well packaged. The books are nice looking and well bound.

Thank you for making them available with minimal effort and at such a reasonable cost Fr. Phillips.
