Please pray for me as I will later today consecrate myself totally to the Blessed Virgin Mary according the the method of devotion of St. Louis de Montfort.

  1. God bless you, Christian! I am so glad that I did the same at this year's feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, my spiritual life has benefited greatly. While some expressions used by St. Louis are hard on the ears for those of us raised in Reformation cultures, the essence of what he said is surely true: Getting closer to Mary is getting closer to Christ, for no other human person has ever been closer to Him.

  2. Next to entering the Church itself, consecration to our Queen and Mother has been the most significant spiritual step for me, too. You are joining a great confraternity with many certified saints, including Theophane Venard, martyr of Vietnam, whose consecration text, according to Saint Louis de Montfort, I saw in the Salle DES Martyres in the Foreign Missions Seminary in Paris. And of course Bl. John Paul II.
