I have known Eudora for over thirty years. She was a very kind lady with a cheerful personality always wearing a smile. She was a loyal servant of her Lord and Master Jesus Christ in Whose Presence she now resides. I pray for her soul and that God will comfort Bishop Lou and her family.

We will offer a mass here at St. George’s Anglican church for the repose of her soul, Bishop Campese’s family and the Cathedral Family. The ACA/TCA has lost a most dedicated daughter in Christ.
Eternal peaceful rest grant unto her O Lord, and let your perpetual light shine upon her.
My heartfelt condolences to Bishop Louis and to the family and to all of Eudora's friends and fellow workers in the Anglican vineyard in which she so long labored. I will pray for the repose of her soul.
We both prayed for Eudora last night and well into the morning hours. Our prayers will continue for the Bishop, his family and her soul.
She was truly a wonderful extraordinary woman and will be deeply missed. Our sincere sympathy and condolences to all who loved Eudora.
Mass was offered for the repose of our sister this evening as it will be again tomorrow at noon for those who were not able to attend. It's hard to imagine, but heaven became even a little nicer this day.
I would like to offer some testimony about the circumstances of Eudora's final hours.
Eudora has been a regular attendee at the Cathedral's Wednesday night Bible studies for some years, which immediately follows Wednesday night Evening Prayer and Mass. She was a great student: she "read, marked, learned and inwardly digested" Sacred Scripture and added to our discussions, she fully supported me as a teacher, and she encouraged not a few people to join the class. Well, we had recently begun a study of Revelation, and last night we covered Our Lord's messages to Ephesus and Smyrna. She was thoughtful about the word "paradise" in verse 7, a garden of delights where there was no more death, no more pain. And upon reading verse 10 — "be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life" — she remarked at how cool it would be to be given a literal crown to wear. It was mere minutes after this, as we were wrapping up for the night, that she fell from the aneurysm that would shortly prove fatal.
Thanks be to God that, if this had to happen, that it happened as it did. She did not die at home alone, or worse, behind the wheel of her car. She was at the church she loved so much, having received the Blessed Sacrament, contemplating the glories of Heaven, surrounded by her husband and many friends.
I am sure all of this was more than coincidence. May the Lord take such pity on me, a sinner, as to give me so good a death as that. I look forward to meeting her again, and seeing her wearing that crown.
Thank you all for your prayers kind words of sympathy. The Bishop, his family, and all of our parish family have suffered a tragic loss, and your continued prayers and support will be coveted over the next several weeks. I will be sure to pass along your love to the family.
Everyone here is doing as well as can be expected, but rest assured that the Bishop and his family are surrounded by many people who will help them cope with their loss and walk the road of mourning with them.
Throughout the last 24 hours, the hand of the Lord as been upon us, and His mercy and grace has been known to all. I'm sure that Eudora would want each of us to keep our eyes on the Lord in this situation and to be sure that He gets the glory and honor. To that end, let us all pray that her life and death will bring each and every one of us closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ – that's what she would want us to do, and I'm sure that's what she is praying for even now.
Again, on behalf of Bishop Campese and his family, thank you so very much for your prayerful support.
Fr. Scott – thanks so much for posting such wonderful news about Eudora's final hours. What an amazing death. Thanks again, and thanks be to God!

I learnt of your wife's passing only in July, 2010. These were shocking news for me and my people. We wish to send to you a word of condolence, together with your family. May God continue to Bless and Watch over you.
