- The Bishops of England and Wales have approved the new translation of the Roman Missal. Recall that the American bishops did the same on Wednesday. This translation is a huge step forward and will bring a more sacral language to the vernacular Novus Ordo.
- The Young Fogey points out that yesterday's speech in which ++Cantuar challenged Roman doctrine on the ordination of women might be the first time Rowan has ever stood up for anything. But this is not going to go down well in the Vatican!
- Rowan "knows the position of the Catholic Church and I have nothing to add to that." Cardinal Kasper reacts to the ABC's provocative address at the Pontifical Gregorian University.
- Anglican Patrimony in the Russian Orthodox Church? ROCOR approves revised version of the Coverdale psalter.
- Fr. Hunwicke notes the "essential" nature of praying for the bishop in the Canon of the Mass. Mentioning the bishop — and the Holy Father — "gives full expression to the synchronic unities which constitute a particular Eucharist as the Eucharist of Christ's entire Catholic Church."
- Videos of different flavors of Anglican worship from Sub Tuum via NLM. This is a couple of weeks old, but we didn't have a blog then, did we?
