Ecclesiastical Sundries
- The Bishops of England and Wales have approved the new translation of the Roman Missal. Recall that the American bishops did the same on Wednesday. This translation is a huge step forward and will bring a more sacral language to the vernacular Novus Ordo.
- The Young Fogey points out that yesterday’s speech in which ++Cantuar challenged Roman doctrine on the ordination of women might be the first time Rowan has ever stood up for anything. But this is not going to go down well in the Vatican!
